Barespace is a visionary architecture firm founded in Athens, Greece in 2017 by Harvard GSD and Columbia University alumni Ioannis Kandyliaris and Parina Vasilopoulou. With a combined experience of over 30 years, including 10 years working in New York City for renowned firms like OMA, SO-IL, and most notably BIG, where Ioannis was the chief designer for large-scale and high-profile projects such as the Kukje Gallery in Seoul, the Frieze Art Fair in NYC, the Telus Sky skyscraper in Calgary, and the “BIG: From Hot to Cold” book and exhibition, our team of passionate architects and designers is committed to creating innovative and functional spaces that are deeply rooted in sustainability and brand identity.
